Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)- 60 hrs: $500.00

The First Responder is an individual who has been trained to render aid to the sick or injured, prior to the arrival of more advanced and equipped personnel. A First Responder is taught how to recognize and treat life-threatening conditions at the scene of illness or injury. Included at this level is training in the use of CPR, splinting, bandaging, control of bleeding, and shock.

This is a 60-hour course designed for individuals that may be working as safety officers, school first responders, security guards, or the layperson that wants more education on how to do respond in a medical emergency. This course includes Heartsaver CPR/AED through the American Heart Association. At the end of this course, you will receive a certificate of completion and be eligible to take the National Registry Test for certification.
